If you choose to use oil and treats together, we recommend getting your pet accustomed to oil first, by administering our recommended dose of oil for two weeks. You’ll administer oil only during this time, twice a day (every 12 hours).
After 2 weeks using oil, replace one of your pet’s two oil doses with the allotted number of treats based on their weight (this information can be found on product packaging as well as our website).
An easy rule of thumb is to administer oil with breakfast, and treats with, or after, dinner.
