Our Fortify CBD isolate oils contain only pure CBD. To formulate Fortify, CBD is extracted from every other hemp compound into a crystal, resulting in a pharmaceutical-grade product. There is nothing except the CBD molecule in this product, which makes it very easy to dose and measure. It’s our best-selling product for a reason — it’s perfect for most general health concerns that can be considered mild-to-moderate. However, some pets may not find it quite strong enough to yield the benefits of CBD oil for extreme or serious cases of anxiety, arthritis, epilepsy, cancer and other debilitating ailments or illnesses.
Our Spectrum line is made using a full spectrum oil. This means all the naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds (including trace amounts of THC) found in the hemp plant make their way into the final CBD product. There is growing evidence that full spectrum oil can be more effective for some animals and in some circumstances. This is due to what’s known as the entourage effect, where all the compounds work together to be more effective. You needn’t worry about the presence of THC in full spectrum oil. It contains miniscule amounts (0.3%), which when administered at our recommended dose per weight has absolutely no potential to create any sort of intoxicating effect. The presence of THC is merely to support all the other compounds found in the hemp plant, which, when working together symbiotically as the entourage effect, support animals even more than what a CBD isolate (Fortify) product could do alone. Thus, full spectrum CBD products assist animals who have more complicated/serious conditions.
