Purchased the “serenity” treats for my dog this past Friday (09/20/19) in the hopes it would help my dog settle down when we left him alone. We had plans on the Saturday and wanted to help him with his minor anxiety. So Friday night I had given him one of the treats to see if he even liked them, if all was well I would’ve given his proper dosage by weight (3-4 treats) on the Saturday.
Well needless to say our plans Saturday were completely shot as my dog woke up at 5am Saturday morning vomiting bile profusely until 7am. He then slept for a bit, and once again began to vomit around 9:30am. Poor guy didn’t have anything left to bring up, he was just dry heaving. I took him to the vet where he was administered an anti nauseate and fluids. He was also given x-rays to rule out a blockage of any kind. So $285 later it is determined by our Vet that something within these treats (listed or not) made my dog this sick. I am aware of the health benefits of CBD and do not believe it contributed to my dogs sickness, but I am still left wondering what else is in these treats would’ve made him react like that. No history of allergies, nothing….
Has there been other cases of this happening to other customers animals?
Long story short, a $285 Vet bill and a $25 bag of treats that I cannot use makes me leery about your products.
The treats will be thrown in the garbage and I will not be trying your products again.

This is the first time we have had feedback of this nature, and our vets would like to take a closer look at the circumstances. In hopes to offer you some resolve in this situation, we have made several attempts to contact you to ask you some additional questions. I have a 15lb Boston Pug X who suffers from anxiety initially brought on by an intense storm in our area one day while we were at work. Since then, if it’s slightly windy or rainy the anxiety kicks into overdrive. We’ve tried a variety of veterinary prescribed medications which either knock her out to the point that she is quite obviously drugged or worse she is in that drugged state and still has anxiety. Maya is 11 years old and these bouts of anxiety take a toll on her poor little body, compounded by medications that don’t work well have made me really concerned for her long term wellbeing. One day while at a cannabis dispensary I saw these treats and thought what the heck I’ll give them a try. They are amazing. They calm her down, she is more serene but doesn’t appear drugged and she’s still able to function. These have literally made a huge difference in the quality of her life.
To the person whose dog was seriously ill, it may be that an ingredient doesn’t sit well with your dog or it got into something else without you noticing and is unrelated to the treats. I’d be same as you tho and discontinue to be sure. But for anyone reading this – it has been an amazing product for my little girl.

I bought these for my 14lb morkie. He has extreme fear aggression towards other dogs after being attacked twice. Its hard to control him when we pass other dogs in the park despite countless hours of training. I started with 1 treat and noticed no difference so upped the dosage every day, by the end of the week i had him
On 4 cookies every morning and this did the trick. I can physcially see the difference in him when we pass other dogs, he is more calm when given the ‘leave it’ command. ***we consulted with our vet to confirm the dosage was ok and she said it was fine. Despite this am going to switch to the oils because my morkie is so incredibly picky i have to grind the cookies to a powder and mix with his food before he ate it.

Unfortunately these treats had zero effect on my Pyrenees Aussie Shepherd mix. She is 55lbs, so the recommended dosage is 2-3 treats. The first time we tried 2, the second time 5, and the third time 8- absolutely no difference.

Hi Sarah, we are sorry that the product didn’t work for your dog as you had hoped it would, but unfortunately CBD is not a quick fix and in most cases requires daily consistent administration to have a long-lasting positive effect. It can take some time for a depleted endocannabinoid system to regulate with proper supplementation, so we always recommend giving the product for at least 2 weeks to fully achieve optimum benefit. Your dog’s health status can also have a direct impact on how long it takes to start seeing a difference, and therefore it’s important to be patient. Bought this to try out of my GSD who panics at thunder and fireworks. This is completely changed her life. We give her two if we know a storm is coming or on holidays. She barks a bit still but doesn’t shake or cry anymore. This product has made things a lot easier and I would highly recommend it.

I know this review might sound to good to be true but, hear me out:
I have a super anxious husky x german shepherd and we tried everything. After countless hours of training, giving high value treats and even changing our schedule so at any time he won’t be left alone at home, I finally found these amazing product. To be honest, I was very skeptical at first but I figured if CBD works for my anxiety, it should work for my dog as well. What a surprise! I gave two treats to my boy, waited 15-20 minutes and he was so relax. I left the house for 40 minutes and he didn’t even cried out loud once. When I got back he was upset that I left, but I could tell he did not panic. I would never give up on an animal, but it was getting harder and harder to deal with Dobby’s anxiety. I ordered 2 bags of the serenity treats along with a bottle of the spectrum 250. Neither of my dogs will touch the treats! I tried giving them to two other dogs and they didn’t want them either! I need to return one of the packages that is unopened please! Very disappointing.

We don’t often receive this type of feedback, but it is certainly true that some animals have more sensitive palates and may refuse the scents/tastes associated with the adaptogenic herbs found in our treat blends. We also saw your other review for our Spectrum oil and are so happy to hear that this one is working well for your pup and you’re noticing improvement! Our oils definitely don’t present as many smells/tastes as our treats do, and so pets with sensitive palates do tend to prefer oil.

Our 10-year-old dog, Kirby, recently started throwing up on car rides. Like, without fail, a gigantic mess in the back seat. We thought maybe her new car seatbelt system was limiting her freedom of movement in the car, and making her feel car sick. We decided to give her one of these cookies for our long journeys, if nothing else hoping she’d be too zonked out to feel sick or hopefully just sit still enough to not get worked up. It worked better than we could have imagined! Now she tolerates the drives to our favourite hiking spots, cottage, or camping – she hasn’t thrown up once since we started using these. Usually, half a treat will do the trick to ease her motion sickness. Can’t recommend these enough if you have a car puker!
