I have a german shephard who has been diagnosed with lupus?, the type that affects the skin. After prednisone almost killed him and thousands spent on vet bills as a result, I started him on Fortify 500. I bumped it up to the 1000 mg but this time I am going to try the 500 Full Spectrum and see how he does. He has not had prednisone since and is on atopica twice a week but that seems to be doing the trick. Within 2 weeks of starting on CBD his nose stopped cracking and looked great. No more crusties on his lips. No sores. I tried a different brand when it became available at the local pet food stores but within 2 weeks his nose started to crack again. I immediately ordered more from this site. 1/2 a dropper 2x daily. He also walks like a 3 yr old still.

My 12 year old shepherd / sharpei mix has arthritis, bad degenerative hip joints, malignant malenoma, some unknown systemic inflammatory disease that causes his legs to “leak” and failing kidneys. Since we started Fortify 1000 (he’s only 80 pounds so we give him 0.75ml once a day) we have him almost completely off his arthritis medication and half his gabapentin doses. Plus his anxiety level is almost nil. I highly recommend you try this product for any issues. It’s like a miracle.

I have a chocolate Lab (5 years) and I have been administering this oil to control his Seizures/Epilepsy symptoms for the past 4 weeks….Unfortunately this product has NOT worked for us as our pet has had 2 seizures during the time we have been administering this. As much as we looked forward to this science of CDB oils to control this specific symptom it has not helped reduce the frequency.

We are so sorry to hear you haven’t experienced the results you were hoping for. First, have you been using products consistently each day, twice per day (every 12 hours), for a minimum of 3 weeks? These factors play a major part in how an animal responds to CBD, and how their Endocannabinoid Systems are rebalanced. Sometimes, depending on the severity of a condition, CBD needs to be used along with conventional medication, in order to mitigate issues. While for some pets, CBD on its own works wonderfully, it cannot be guaranteed to stop seizures for every animal. We find that for more severe cases of epilepsy, it is a balancing act between natural treatments and veterinarian medical support.

In the summer of 2018 our 15 pound mini-dachshund developed IVDD and required emergency surgery, as she was partially paralyzed. After medication, therapy and time, she was able to recover well. In 2019 she had another brief flare up, but last summer, in 2020 she had a flare up that lasted quite a while, probably related to the area where the surgery was. She was put on Tramodol and Gabapentin for the whole summer and it seemed to help, but we really didn’t want her to be on medication for the rest of her life. We give Fortify 1000 to our German Shepherd for stiff joints. It helps her a lot but an added bonus we just discovered is her skin health. We usually have to brush her until almost winter to get rid of her excess coat from the previous winter. It is now May, and she is sleek and smooth, very little ugly fur to brush out. So amazed!!!
