Using a full spectrum oil means all of the naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other compounds found in the hemp plant make their way into the final product. Evidence suggests full spectrum oil can be more effective for animals with more severe conditions, due to what’s known as the entourage effect, where all the compounds work together symbiotically to boost product efficacy.
When more serious or advanced conditions are present — such as cancer or epilepsy — we recommend Spectrum. While Spectrum oil does contain extremely low amounts of THC (less than 0.3%/not enough to produce any psychoactive effect), studies have shown that animals with severe conditions exhibit more improvement with Full Spectrum products.

My standard dachshund mix Clark has turned the corner into being a senior (8yrs young) and was beginning to develop fatty lumps. He’s a rescue and has always had separation anxiety (normal for the breed). We have a 19 1/2 year old cat which I found abandoned as a kitten. She has has had increasing mobility issues and is on pain relief meds from the vet. I began giving her full spectrum 250 about a month ago. She appears to be gaining mobility and is cleaning herself once again as she did up until the summer, when it appeared she was too stiff and sore to do so. She is also using her litter box more frequently and regularly once again. She also seems more comfortable when taking her long naps (she’s always been on the lazy side but until lately was having difficulty getting comfortable). My cat is 13 years old and started to get arthritis when he was about 10. He was a lot less active, not as cuddly, very grumpy when he picked him up and hiding under my bed. I got him the regular CBD oil from Creating Brighter Days for cats and he did wonderfully for a few years, completely back to normal. Then this summer, we had a 40°C heatwave in Canada and it reached up to 45° where I live. My cat (Sunshine/Sunny) had a spot in the yard where he’d go to lay and nap. I hadn’t been giving him as much CBD (once a day regularly) because the summer seems to help his joints and he likes to be outside.
For the week of that heatwave, he was laying directly in the sun, wouldn’t stay inside and was very irritable. Next, he stopped drinking and eating for two days so we took him to the emergency vet. I thought it could maybe be a urinary tract issue which is common in older, male cats. The vet took a look at him and listened to his symptoms and said she’d run some tests. She told us to be prepared that it could be cancer. I was devastated. I can’t begin to tell you how much this cat means to me because I could write a book on him. He is the reason I keep going everyday. Thankfully, his immune system was down a bit and he was just very dehydrated. We brought him home after his treatment the next day but he was still very grumpy and not his usually self.
I was going to order more CBD and I saw this new product and emailed the company because I was concerned it had THC in it, which can be toxic to cats. They have me a super thorough lab report and I was really happy about that. The trace amounts are harmless. I started using this CBD in July and he’s doing fantastic. He’s so cuddly and almost completely himself! Sometimes you need to adjust the dose to find what works. This also doesn’t upset his stomach like hemp oil does. I’d recommend just squirting it into their mouth with the dropper and immediately giving treats after. Don’t shake the treat bag before or else they associate it with the bad taste of the CBD. Sunny is about 10-12 pounds (gains more in the winter) and he takes half a dropper once a day but you can do it every 12 hours. As long as you give it to them on time it works.
I noticed more of a difference compared to the regular CBD. This one is better for pain I think. He only goes to the vet once a year usually so I don’t know if it helps with anxiety. I’ve tried pain medication from the vet in the past for his joints but it didn’t do anything! This is so much better!

Our 17 year old male cat was showing blood in his urine for a while. We knew he had started showing signs of kidney disease but after doing an ultra sound we found that he had developed pancreatitis and was told if it didn’t get better it was likely cancer. A little over a year ago I was told my senior JRT would only survivor for a few months, she had something wrong with her heart (vets did not know) and something with her lungs. She would lose her bowels constantly and have mini seizures. We planned for her passing, we even dug a whole in the yard prior to winter. Game changer for my 13 year old anxiety ridden cat that was peeing all over my clothes —no accidents in the month she’s been on this one (we had her on their other one for 5 months and it was working alright for her anxiety but she would still mark and hide from the dog but at least wasn’t ONLY peeing on clothes which she was doing for like 6 months before we tried CBD) after switching to full spectrum she’s back to exploring the house and even walks right past the dog she was terrified of even though she still lets off a bit of a hiss (was fine when she was a puppy but went downhill as she got bigger). Turns around when the dog tries to play with her too and slaps her paw on the ground instead of just running away. She isn’t hiding under the bed all day anymore and is her loving and cuddly self again crawling into my lap and being insistent on getting pats even if she sees the dog around… this is after about a year of her fearful behavior (took her almost a year to start fearing our dog as she became adult size and then we dealt with this fear after) – worked better than the Prozac we had her on for a while even. I just wish they had larger bottles to be a little bit more cost effective and so I wouldn’t have to order so often. Please look into making a 50 or 90ml!!

My dog was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor. He’s 12, and surgery would have been dangerous as they would have had to cut into healthy tissue.
